On the prowl
With the district hunter in the forest. Our master hunter walks with you through the hunting grounds. The focus is on reading tracks, illuminating the forest habitat in detail and understanding the important work of the hunter.
Coffee secrets - roasting demonstration
Procedure: show roasting with explanation on the Probat 5kg roaster, short introduction to coffee science, answering all questions in a cozy coffee round, bag of coffee (125g) to take home.
Self beekeeping
At the castle park you can take a direct look into the beehive with beekeeping equipment and learn interesting facts directly from the beekeeper - honey tasting included. Availability: March to October.
Insect hotel
We will build an insect hotel with you, which you are welcome to take home. Each participant will be part of the construction. The basic framework will be built, the boxes will be created and inserted, and then filled with contents (nesting boxes etc.).
Nesting site construction
Together we build nesting sites for native bird species and bats. Supporting and understanding them is close to our hearts in this program. The nesting sites are used in the castle park and in the resort.
